ICHOR is Runetica’s third single. It explores a self-centered sense of identity and a narcissistic worldview in which personal interests are placed above everything else, leaving no room for differing opinions or mutual understanding. One’s own value system is seen as objectively correct, and any behavior that supports it is therefore justified. The song was born out of frustration with the egoistic side of humanity, disappointment in rigid clashes of opinion, and above all the question: what would happen if these black-and-white ways of thinking were imposed on all of us?
